CARMA
Office Management Team
Hi! My name is Carma, and I’ve worked with Dr. Ali since 2004. I started working in the kennel at Alma Animal Hospital just a few months after it opened, and gradually started learning more of the technician and reception areas as well. I currently help out at both facilities in all areas along with assisting any new employees as they get acquainted with everything. I enjoy working closely with our patients, as well as getting to know their stories and meeting their families. I’ve always had a soft spot for animals, which is why when we were younger, my sister and I would bring home any type of creature we thought was in need of assistance. I believe that pets have the ability to bring love into anyone’s heart, and it is up to us to ensure their well-being, just as they do for us. I understand that each one brought into the clinic is playing a very important role in someone’s life. My goal is to help create an environment at our hospitals that make all pets, clients and staff feel welcome. After all, we are all in this together.

Hey my name is Autum! Yes, that is actually how my name is spelt. I was born in Dallas Texas and have lived in Allen ever since. When I’m not wearing scrubs, you’ll find me wearing some gothic attire (except for in this picture because I was at the Grand Canyon!) I love styling clothes and putting outfits together with my other hobbies being hiking, working out, spending time with friends and family, photography, and traveling just to name a few of them. I love animals which is why I chose this work field, but cats are the ones that steal my heart. My ultimate goal is to become a veterinarian to help care for all pets!

EVELYN
Patient Care
Hi! my name is Evelyn and I’ve been working at Alma since 2019. I started out as a kennel technician at 121 Animal Hospital, and then began working at Alma in the treatment area. My favorite animal is a German Shepherd Dog – and every time one comes into our facility, I make sure to be the first to one see them! I have grown up with German Shepherds and currently have one that’s a year old named Gunner, along with an 8-year-old Yorkie named Mia. I am bilingual, which allows me to extend the care we offer by translating any medical terminology needed to help our clients and their pets. Outside of work, my hobbies include playing soccer, riding horses, and working out at the gym. Working at Alma has increased my knowledge and understanding of animals and makes me feel good knowing I am helping a member of someone’s family.
MEAGAN
Patient Care
Hi, my name is Meagan and I have always wanted to work with animals! So, now that my kids are a little older I am pursuing that dream. I just recently got into the field of veterinary medicine and hope to go far. At home I have a husband, 2 daughters and one mini pinscher. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and baking delicious treats.
DAVID
Patient Care
Meet David, he’s awesome! We’ll call him, “Awesome David”. However, he can be “Uncooperative David” when it comes to writing his own bio; so he got the coolest person he could find to write it for him. Awesome David joined Awesome Alma in the early stages of the pandemic while working towards his CVA at Collin College. Among all the chaos in 2020, we learned that he has the remarkable ability to maintain a calm demeanor in an array of situations. Don’t let the stoicism fool you, though. He will turn into a big ball of mush when tending to patients in the treatment area (especially if they’re a Cavalier King Charles). Awesome David also possesses a refined taste for the finer things in life, such as the PopTart, and the pizza; but does hold strong opinions against coleslaw. He enjoys reading lots of books to further his knowledge of different animal species. With a specific interest in reptiles, Awesome David plans to work with them in the future.
Estrella
Boarding attendant
Hello, my name is Estrella. I have been working at Alma Animal Hospital since the end of 2022. I come from Costa Rica where I graduated as a veterinary technician. After that, I started my career to become a veterinarian. Arriving in a new country with a language completely different from mine, Alma Animal Hospital extended its hand and helped me continue with my dreams far from my comfort zone. Since I was a child, I have felt an affinity for being able to help animals. My thinking has always been “you have to know how to interpret the looks of beings who do not have the same language but who must be listened to and valued”. I love dogs, cats, cows, horses, wolves, foxes, etc. In my free time I love to meditate, do Pilates, read, run and dance.
